Car rental
What they do:
Car rental agents are responsible for managing, organising, and delivering vehicles for short-, medium-, or long-term rentals, ensuring customers receive an efficient, safe, and compliant service. They use IT systems to handle bookings, check vehicle conditions before and after rental, and manage the documentation required for contract agreements. Their duties also include welcoming customers, explaining rental conditions, offering additional insurance options, and assisting clients in choosing the most suitable vehicle for their needs.
They are also in charge of vehicle returns, recording any damages, and coordinating with workshops for maintenance or repair work. Car rental agents mainly work at airports, in city agencies, or in tourist areas, in close contact with customers and in dynamic working environments. They are able to communicate in multiple languages, use management software, and adapt to fast-paced work situations, especially during high season periods.
