Taking part in WorldSkills has completely changed my life, because I am participating at a moment when I have finished school and am about to enter the world of work or university. For me, it means acquiring the skills demanded by industry and comparing myself with experts from other countries. But above all — and equally important — is the networking: gaining international knowledge that, if I make it onto the podium, could very likely influence my future. And the people who meet me at WorldSkills will be able to say: ‘Oh my God, he made it.’
