Organisation

WorldSkills South Tyrol, Italy is the project that promotes skills competitions throughout South Tyrol and coordinates the participation of local talents in European and world events. The project is managed by the Chamber of Commerce of Bolzano, which oversees overall organisation, logistics, communication, and cooperation with national and international partners.

Founded in 1995, the initiative was created to highlight vocational education and training (VET) and to offer young talents the opportunity to grow, compete, and challenge themselves. Since 1997, South Tyrol has actively taken part in the WorldSkills international competitions, bringing the quality of its vocational education and training system to the global stage.

Today, WorldSkills South Tyrol, Italy organises the Provincial Competition, selects and supports participants for the European and world competitions, and promotes a culture of craftsmanship and innovation based on excellence, passion, and skill. Its daily mission is to build bridges between schools, companies, and institutions – giving real visibility to professions and to the talent of young people.

Behind it all stands a dedicated and motivated team – people who believe in the potential of the new generations and in the value of vocational education and training as a key to growth, opportunity, and the future.
